What should I expect during a salon tour?
During your salon tour, you'll get a firsthand look at real salon life. Meet the team, explore workspaces, and observe haircuts. You'll get a feel for the energy, the workflow, and the professionalism in a salon enviornment.
Are Externship programs available at all salons?
Externship opportunities vary by location and are not offered at every salon. Availability depends on salon participation and program openings at the time of your application.
Do you have to pay to participate in an Externship?
There is no cost to participate in an externship. It's a free, educational experience designed to help students gain real salon training and career insight.
How do I become eligible to attend a Live Haircut Demo?
To be eligable to attend a LIVE Haircut Demo, you must currently be a cosmetology or barber student (or enrolled in a similar training program). Registration is required to reserve your spot.
What are the Q & A session hours for The Director of Education and Stylist Outreach?
The Q & A sessions are available Monday through Friday, from 9:00am to 4:00pm. If you need to schedule a session outside of these hours, please contact Sara-anne directly at [email protected].
